Florida Morgan Horse Association Review, June 2000 Equine Communicator Bob and Claudia Clark's beautiful, shady garden was the perfect setting for the FMHA sponsored event on Memorial Day weekend. The purpose was to help owners better understand what was in their horse' minds as well as a fundraiser for our Hospice project. Equine communicator, Catherine Ceci captured our attention and our hearts as she shared her unique ability to listen and hear what horse were telling her. Her insights assisted owners with understanding their horses' quirks, past experiences that were influencing them now, and general state of mind. She also brought to light some physical problems that were affecting their performance. Many of the horses were very grateful to be in their present situation. She was able to give suggestions to the owners that would further enhance the horses attitudes, performance and life.Catherine "read" three Morgans and a horse of one of the Clark's neighbors. We broke for lunch. A fabulous feast! Thanks to the culinary expertise of the attendees as well as the donations from, Heavenly Hams, Hitchcock's Market in Newberry, The Back Yard Barbeque in Newberry, Publix Bakery in Newberry and the Winn Dixie in Williston. After we stuffed ourselves, Catherine gave private mini readings to the folks who brought photos of their horses. One woman was an admitted sceptic. She left a believer. Catheine emphasized we all have the ability to communicate with our horses. It just takes practice. Catherine's life was very positively impacted by Hospice when her father died. She was happy to assist our club in this very worthy cause. |
